ALERT: World Health Organization Issues Shocking Warning To US Farmers

One of the most important things to protect, where our health is concerned – along with safe drinking water, is the purity of our food supply. Today there is a major concern that needs to be addressed.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is warning farmers all over the world about the dangers of using antibiotics in animals they are raising to bring to market for food. The use of these antibiotics is posing a serious threat to humans.

The organization, which concerns itself with the health and well-being of people around the globe, is stressing that the routine use of antibiotics in animals raised for food is slowly reaching the human population because of the levels of antibiotics in the meat we consume.

Eating meat that is high in antibiotic content contributes to the growth of drug resistance in humans. This resistance to antibiotics is causing a rise in the creation of “superbugs,” diseases resistant to all but the strongest antibiotics that the medical industry has developed.

Medical authorities associated with the WHO are concerned that because the population is facing a rising number of superbugs, there won’t be enough effective antibiotics available to treat people.

While farmers and ranchers use antibiotics to promote growth and prevent diseases in their livestock, there are alternatives to antibiotic use in controlling problems in herd populations, quarantine being one of them.

In the end, we are all better off when the food we eat is free of chemicals, especially antibiotics and steroids. Not only does chemical-free meat taste better, but it will also help to make sure the medicines we all come to need in times of health issues are effective.
